Is PPE recyclable?
PPE is 100% recyclable, even with several cycles, until it is disposed of. PPE can be burned with other solid urban waste without producing poisonous or acidic substances, the combustion gases being only CO2 and H2O. In addition, 1 kg of expanded polypropylene allows saving about 1.3 kg of gasoline in the incinerator operation. It is also possible to dispose of containers at the usual points without, again in this case, polluting the environment, since the product is chemically neutral and does not contaminate the air or the watersheds. It could even be said that these products, crushed together with solid urban waste, with their high air content, help the decomposition of organic waste.
