Returns and Exchanges

We want you to shop with confidence. If what you've received doesn't fit, doesn't convince you or has a fault, you can request an exchange or return.


🕒 Timeframe

You have 30 calendar days from receipt of your order to notify us — twice the minimum required by law.

🧸 Faulty or defective products

If the exchange or return is due to a fault or defect in the product, Älva for Kids will cover the collection and shipping costs.

We will replace the product with an identical one and, if that's not possible, issue a full refund of the purchase amount.

Our products carry a 2-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery, in accordance with Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU). This guarantee covers manufacturing or material defects, not natural wear and tear resulting from normal use of the product.


🎨 Exchanges or returns for other reasons

If the exchange or return is due to size, colour or simply a change of mind, you can send the product back in three ways:

  • 🏪 Bringing it to our store — no additional cost
  • 📦 Sending it at your own expense to the address we provide — shipping costs are your responsibility
  • 🏷️ Requesting a Correos label (available for shipments within Spain only) — we'll send it to you by email and simply deduct €5 from your final refund or add it to the settlement in the case of an exchange

📬 How does the Correos label work?

It's easier than it sounds:

  1. Contact us at info@alvaforkids.com or via WhatsApp with your order number, letting us know you'd like to use the Correos label
  2. We'll send it to you by email within a few hours
  3. Pack the product carefully — make sure it's well protected for transit
  4. Take it to your nearest post office and show the label on your phone or stick it to the package
  5. That's it! We'll receive the package shortly, inspect the product and proceed with your refund or send out the new product if it's an exchange

If it's a return: we'll refund the original amount minus the €5 handling fee.

If it's an exchange: before sending out the new product we'll settle up together — if the new item has a different price, we'll sort out the difference (to pay or to refund) plus the €5 label fee.


📦 Condition of returned products

Once we receive the item, we will check that it:

  • Is in perfect condition
  • Is unused
  • Has the original tags attached
  • Is in its original packaging if applicable

💳 Refund

After inspection, we will issue a refund of the original amount to the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the moment we receive the item or proof of postage (whichever comes first).

If the returned item was the only item in the order, the original shipping costs will also be refunded.


⚖️ Applicable law

These conditions are governed by current Spanish legislation on consumer rights and e-commerce, in particular Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU) and Law 34/2002 (LSSICE).

In the event of any dispute, both parties shall submit to the courts of the buyer's place of residence.
